Notice is hereby given that as of May 18, 2020, the Assessor of the Town of Westerlo, County of Albany, has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year, and that a copy has been filed with The Westerlo Town Clerk's Office. Due to Covid-19 restrictions (Executive Order 202.22), the tentative assessment roll is available for viewing until Grievance Day online at the Town of Westerlo website ( The assessor will be available only by phone or email (518-797-3111, ext. 1016, 518-772-0010 or Please feel free to call with any questions or concerns.

The Board Assessment Review (BAR) will meet at the Town Hall located at 933 County Route 401 on June 8th, 2020 from 4pm until 8pm to hear and examine all complaints in relations to assessments on the application of any persons believing him/her to be aggrieved. Grievance will be heard either remotely (access Zoom via website, or call in at 646-558-8656 with Zoom ID 99953663876) or appear in person (social distancing must be observed, and face masks must be worn correctly). All complaints must be received before the BAR closes the meeting on Grievance Day. This year we will accept remote submissions via mail, fax (518-797-5122) or email, but they MUST be received by the closing of meeting on June 8th, 2020. Be sure to include whatever support you wish the BAR to consider with your application, it will not be accepted post-meeting. We strongly suggest you attend the meeting in person, or via Zoom.
