MEETINGS:
The next CAC meeting is Thursday June 7, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at the new town hall.
ACTIVITIES The CAC sponsors
SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT
The Westerlo Community Activity Committee is hosting a two day softball tournament Saturday, September 8 and Sunday September 9th at the Westerlo Town Park.
We hope to have 10 - 12 teams enroll.
If interested please contact us at westcac@mhcable.com
Teams are co-ed, Must be 16 or over to play.
$50 entrance fee
(goes towards umpire fees, softballs and prizes)
Refreshments will be available both days coffee/donuts/etc. in the a.m. hotdogs/hamburgers/sausage/chips/drinks in the p.m.

HOUSHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION DAY
For residents of Berne, Knox, Westerlo & Rensselaerville
June 2,2012 - 9:00AM to 2:00: PM
At the Town of Berne Highway Garage
1811 Helderberg Tr., Berne
Obtain special permit from Town Clerk.
- Keep wastes in their original labeled containers. Tighten lids and pac securely in a cardboard box. Never mix chemicals.
- Wrap leaking containers In newspaper and place in plastic bag or container.
- DO NOT smoke near chemicals or leave product in a hot, unventilated vehicle for an extended period of time.
- For your SAFETY, please stay in your car. Workers will unload the material.
- Recycle motor oil with service stations that change oil for customers.
- Recycle Antifreeze with local Radiator shops.
